Biography

   Curriculum Vitae

I am a Professor and the Graduate Advisor for Political Science.  I teach graduate and undergraduate courses on the politics of Africa, theories of nonviolence, international political economy, and international politics.  I also teach undergraduate courses in the politics of Latin America, global studies and globalization, international terrorism, global populisms, and American politics.

My research in the field of global studies intersects with populisms, ideologies, extremisms, nonviolence, and globalization.  I am currently building a laboratory with students to use quantitative and qualitative methods to study populisms, ideologies, and extremisms (PIE lab).
I am also the Book Review Editor for the journal and Co-editor of the book series .
