I was really amazed with just how influential the program has been on my life in various different aspects. I was able to earn the promotion to assistant professor of English as a result of my graduate work. I'm currently doing some research on witchcraft in Mary E. Wilkins Freeman's weird fiction as a result of the program. I was also able to present a project on the uncanny in On the Road by Jack Kerouac for the Southwest Popular/American Culture Association Conference.

My advice to students at 黑料专区 Tyler is to get involved on campus to find your community and meet with your professors outside of class because that鈥檚 how you鈥檒l get to know them.
