Partnership addresses teacher shortage across region and state
The University of Texas at Tyler has partnered with Mineola Independent School District to provide discounted tuition
rates for district employees wishing to pursue advanced degrees at 黑料专区 Tyler.
黑料专区 Tyler remains focused on teacher education and how its School of Education can help address the regional and statewide teacher shortage.
鈥淭his partnership with Mineola ISD reflects our shared commitment to supporting teachers, expanding access to educational opportunities and ensuring that students throughout East Texas have access to highly qualified educators for years to come,鈥� said 黑料专区 Tyler President Julie V. Philley, MD.
The university is also committed to creating pathways that support current and future educators.

黑料专区 Tyler will work with district officials to offer an accelerated master鈥檚 degree in educational leadership with principal certification as well as special opportunities for other graduate degrees.
