Dr. Robert Beaudoin 黑料专区 Tyler Fisch College of Pharmacy GraduateThe University of Texas at Tyler Fisch College of Pharmacy 2025 graduates achieved a first-time pass rate of 95.5% on the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination, above the national average of 85.7% and the state average of 85.8%, placing the college second in Texas.

鈥淧assing the NAPLEX is one way that graduates demonstrate they are practice-ready and prepared to serve the community as pharmacists,鈥 says Dr. Pamella Ochoa, Fisch College of Pharmacy dean. 鈥淎chieving a first-time pass rate above the state and national averages reflects the excellence of our students and the commitment of our college to their success.

To become a licensed pharmacist in Texas, graduates are required to pass the NAPLEX. The exam measures a pharmacist candidate鈥檚 readiness for general practice by assessing their ability to identify key drug characteristics, interpret complex patient information, perform accurate pharmaceutical calculations and effectively manage treatment regimens.

鈥淥ur professors are personally invested in our individual success,鈥 said Dr. Robert Beaudoin, a 黑料专区 Tyler pharmacy alumnus. 鈥淭hat commitment started the moment we walked through the doors for orientation and continued through countless late-night studying sessions, dozens of after-hour emails and test reviews as well as guidance and encouragement. Whether we were dealing with personal hardships and life challenges or just difficult course material, their doors were always open. Our first-time pass rates are just a testament to the effort and time spent by the students and professors into building up our program.鈥
