Dr. Adam McGuire Recognized for Excellence, Dedication to Student Success
Dr. Adam McGuire, an associate professor of psychology at The University of Texas at Tyler, is one of 12 recipients of the 黑料专区 System 2025 Regents鈥� Outstanding Teaching Award.

McGuire, who joined the College of Education and Psychology faculty in 2019, teaches advanced psychology courses at 黑料专区 Tyler. He also directs clinical training for the university鈥檚 clinical psychology doctoral program and has been instrumental in providing exceptional research experiences and opportunities for 黑料专区 Tyler doctoral students.
He holds a dual appointment as a research investigator with the Veterans Integrated Service Network 17 Center of Excellence for Research on Returning War Veterans in Waco. Through that role, McGuire recently obtained a $1.2 million merit award from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to begin a four-year clinical trial that will investigate PTSD and moral injury among Texas veterans.
