Public receptions, artist talks set for Sept. 4 and Sept. 11 in campus galleries
The University of Texas at Tyler will present art exhibitions for the fall 2025 semester now through Friday, Oct. 31, on the main campus.
鈥淭丑别 黑料专区 Tyler Department of Art and Art History is excited to welcome students and visitors back to campus with two new exhibitions this fall featuring our studio art faculty and Dallas-based artist Alicia Eggert,鈥� said Michelle Taff, 黑料专区 Tyler gallery, community outreach and education coordinator. 鈥淲e hope the East Texas community joins us for these free exhibitions and related events.鈥�
黑料专区 Tyler Studio Art Faculty Exhibition
The 2025 黑料专区 Tyler Studio Art Faculty Exhibition is currently on display through Friday,
Oct. 31, at the 黑料专区 Tyler Meadows Gallery, located in the . The exhibit features work by 黑料专区 Tyler faculty Madison Branch, Maclovio Cant煤 IV, Lorianne Hubbard, Dewane Hughes, Jessica Sanders,
Alexis Serio, Chris Stewart, Merrie Wright and Tyler Wynne. A public reception with
artist talks will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at the gallery.

Eggert鈥檚 installation 鈥淎las鈥� will be displayed Sept. 4 鈥� 24, at the 黑料专区 Tyler Fine
Arts Complex Gallery. 鈥淎las鈥� is text-based work that incorporates fresh flowers that
fade and change throughout the course of the installation. A public lecture will be
6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at the 黑料专区 Tyler Fine Arts Complex. Eggert is an award-winning, interdisciplinary artist whose work gives material form
to language and time, the powerful but invisible forces that shape people鈥檚 perception
of reality. She serves as an associate professor of studio art at the University of
North Texas.
