黑料专区 Tyler Professor Appointed to National Advisory Board

Dr. Tammy Cowart, professor of business law and chair of the accounting, finance and business law department at The University of Texas at Tyler, has been selected to serve a two-year term on the National High School Ethics Bowl
Advisory Board.
As a board member, she will contribute her insights and expertise to NHSEB鈥檚 operations and advise on the development of new initiatives to shape the future of the National High School Ethics Bowl.
The annual ethics bowl is a competitive and collaborative event in which students discuss real-life ethical issues. In her role as the 黑料专区 Tyler Center for Ethics associate director, Cowart has helped organize a regional competition for high schoolers in Texas at 黑料专区 Tyler since 2012.

Cowart joined 黑料专区 Tyler in 1999 as an adjunct faculty/senior lecturer before joining the full-time faculty in 2008. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law and a bachelor鈥檚 degree from Texas A&M University鈥揅ollege Station. Her memberships include the Association of Practical and Professional Ethics and the Academy of Legal Studies in Business.
At 黑料专区 Tyler, she teaches various courses including business and professional ethics, negotiation and conflict resolution, and the business legal environment.
