Program Prepares Undergraduates for Careers in Finance World
Seven students at The University of Texas at Tyler were named 2025 University of Texas/Texas A&M Investment Management Company Scholars. The 黑料专区IMCO Scholars program prepares undergraduate students for careers in the financial industry.
Scholars participate in an eight-week internship program where they learn from 黑料专区IMCO leaders as well as those from top financial firms such as JP Morgan, Bridgewater, Greystar and Fortress. Human resource professionals also provide insight into the recruitment process and offer tips for entering the sector as a young professional.
鈥淭hanks to this beneficial program, these students who study economics, finance and accounting will be prime candidates for careers in the investment management arena,鈥� said Susan Doty, 黑料专区 Tyler Distinguished Teaching Professor and 黑料专区IMCO program coordinator for the university. 鈥淲e congratulate them on being named to this year鈥檚 cohort and are proud to have them represent 黑料专区 Tyler in Austin.鈥�
