Eight accounting students at The University of Texas at Tyler recently attended this year鈥檚 Association for Latino Professionals for America Day hosted by Deloitte in Austin.
One of the world鈥檚 four largest accounting and consulting firms, Deloitte designed the event to support and elevate budding accounting professionals and provide a platform to connect, learn and grow.
鈥淥ur students had the opportunity to connect with students and professionals in the accounting field,鈥� said Dr. Veronda Willis, 黑料专区 Tyler associate professor of accounting and director of the Master of Science in professional accountancy program. 鈥淭hey also learned valuable information about the accounting profession and how to become successful certified public accountants.鈥�
