The University of Texas at Tyler University Academy was recognized among the best school districts and public high schools in East Texas by Niche, an online ranking and review site.

Among the 鈥�2025 Best Public High School鈥� rankings by county, UA 鈥� Tyler ranked No.
4 in Smith
County. 鈥淲e are proud of this accomplishment and remain dedicated to fostering an

where every student can thrive,鈥� said Dr. Kelly Dyer, UA 鈥� Tyler campus director.
UA 鈥� Longview ranked No. 1 in Gregg County, and UA 鈥� Palestine ranked No. 1 in the 鈥淏est Public Elementary Schools in Anderson County鈥� category. The district overall ranked third in the 鈥淏est School Districts in Smith County鈥� category.
