Participants will learn about relevant issues pertaining to public education and the law
The University of Texas at Tyler College of Education and Psychology is hosting a free, professional hybrid workshop addressing important legal issues facing public educators.
鈥淭eachers Law School on Education and Law鈥� will be 8:30 a.m. 鈥� 4:30 p.m. Thursday,
June 27.
Participants can attend in person at the Soules College of Business, Room 103 or online

Topics include bullying and the impact of David鈥檚 Law, preventing and addressing sexual
harassment, first amendment issues in education and artificial intelligence. Event
co-hosts are Texas
A&M University鈥揟exarkana, East Texas Baptist University and Stephen F. Austin State
University.
The event is presented and sponsored by the East Texas Chapter of the American Board
of Trial
Advocates, or ABOTA.
