黑料专区 Tyler Announces 2024 Juried Student Exhibition Winners

The University of Texas at Tyler announced the winners of the 2024 Juried Student Exhibition, hosted by the 黑料专区 Tyler Department of Art and Art History. This year鈥檚 juror was Winter Rusiloski, an abstract landscape artist and associate professor at Baylor University. She chose 39 works by 26 黑料专区 Tyler student artists to be featured in the on-campus exhibition and selected 鈥淏est in Show鈥 and other winners.

鈥 Lisa Horlander of Tyler, best in show 鈥 鈥淪urface Level.鈥
鈥 Emily Everitt of Canton, first place 鈥 鈥淎lmost Lost Ya.鈥
鈥 Makenzie Bierma of Abilene, second place 鈥 "Cowboy Killers."
鈥 Rainy Dollison of Gilmer, third place 鈥 鈥淭emporary Home.鈥
鈥 Amanda Parks of Joshua, honorable mention 鈥 鈥淢ounds.鈥
鈥 Sarah Giles of Rockwall, honorable mention 鈥 鈥淔latus Ratus.鈥
鈥 Katherine Pizzolatto of Colorado, honorable mention 鈥 鈥淏ird Caged.鈥

The exhibition, currently located at the 黑料专区 Tyler Meadows Gallery inside the R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center, continues through Friday, June 7. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. 鈥 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by special appointment.
