Emily Everitt of Canton, a Master of Arts in studio art degree candidate at The University of Texas at Tyler, is one of two 黑料专区 Tyler students featured in the Emerging Artist 2023 Ceramics Exhibition, hosted by Lee College.

The annual exhibit includes the work of ceramic faculty across the state along with one or two of their most promising students working in clay.

鈥満诹献区 Tyler student work has been featured in this exhibition for the past 15 years,鈥 said 黑料专区 Tyler professor of studio art and department chair Merrie Wright, whose work is also featured. 鈥淚t is a great opportunity for students to disseminate their research and build their professional exhibition resume.鈥

Sponsored by CAMEO, the exhibit concludes Saturday, Oct. 21.

鈥淚 am so excited to be chosen as an emerging artist for 2023,鈥 said Everitt. 鈥淚 am also so grateful for this opportunity to have my work shown with my professor, peers and other emerging artists.鈥
