The University of Texas at Tyler announced the names of high school seniors who are 2023 黑料专区 Tyler Honors Scholars. Each student has been awarded a $40,000 scholarship and accepted into the 黑料专区 Tyler Honors College.
鈥淚t is such a great honor to bring new students to our university,鈥� said 黑料专区 Tyler President Kirk A. Calhoun. 鈥淲e get a front row seat as they go on to do great things for our communities, our state and our country.鈥�
Students were recognized during surprise visits to their high school campuses as part of the university鈥檚 Admissions Honors Scholars Road Show. These 12 were selected out of 800 applicants who submitted essays and were interviewed as part of the selection process.
