The University of Texas at Tyler Launches Inaugural Innovation Day Event

黑料专区 Tyler鈥檚 new School of Medicine will host their Inaugural Innovation Day on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022.

Innovation Day will take place at 9 a.m. 鈥� 2 p.m. at the 黑料专区 Tyler Health Science Center Louise & Joseph Z. Ornelas Academic Amphitheater, located at 11937 U.S. Highway 271 in Tyler. The event is free for physicians and healthcare staff and will offer continuing medical education credit.* Participants should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. A continental breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided.

Modern Medicine on a Mission: Innovative Minds in Healthcare will feature top medical innovators from around the nation including presentations from:

Dr. William E. Cohn 鈥� owner of over 90 patents and the leader of the development of the artificial heart.
Dr. Joe Cunningham 鈥� native East Texan, co-founder of Sant茅 Ventures and nationally known for his expertise in healthcare delivery, physician associations and compensation models.
Dr. Nancy Dickey 鈥� a pioneer for female physicians and an expert in rural healthcare and healthcare policy.
Dr. Tom Krummel 鈥� a top 1% physician who transformed Stanford University into a leading innovation engine.
