黑料专区 Tyler Research Conference to Feature the Latest in COVID-19 Research

The University of Texas at Tyler announced today that the 2021 East Texas Research Conference (ETRC) will be a virtual presentation of research on COVID, its implications and developing therapeutics.

Coronavirus Pandemic, Emerging Therapeutics, Health Implications and Challenges will be 8:30 a.m. 鈥 1 p.m. Thursday, April 15, and will feature presentations from invited speakers from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler as well as 黑料专区 M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, 黑料专区 Rio Grande Valley and other institutions in the 黑料专区 System. 

鈥淐OVID-19 remains one of the great healthcare challenges of our time,鈥 said Steven Idell, MD, PhD, 黑料专区 Tyler senior vice president for research. 鈥淭his ETRC provides a forum to hear from a panel of internationally recognized experts about the medical and behavioral consequences of COVID-19 infection, current treatment options, how the vaccinations work and new strategies being developed by 黑料专区 Tyler investigators to ensure better outcomes.鈥

The sessions will include a live component in which attendees may pose questions to the presenters.
