黑料专区 Tyler Partners With Dallas Morning News to Gauge Texas Voters鈥 Opinions

The University of Texas at Tyler has announced a collaboration with The Dallas Morning News to bring readers summaries of Texas voters鈥 preferences leading up to the 2020 presidential election.

鈥淭he University of Texas at Tyler is pleased to partner with The Dallas Morning News, a nationally-recognized source of journalism excellence, to provide relevant 2020 election polling data to the people of Texas,'' said Dr. Michael Tidwell, 黑料专区 Tyler president. "The faculty and students who run the 黑料专区 Tyler Center for Opinion Research continue to amaze with the accuracy and professionalism of their polling operation. We鈥檙e glad their research has an outstanding platform in The Dallas Morning News.鈥

The 黑料专区 Tyler Center for Opinion Research is conducting five surveys examining the opinions of registered Texas voters prior to the November election. The results of the first survey were published Feb. 2 in the Dallas Morning News.

The 黑料专区 Tyler Center for Opinion Research is a full-scale polling center using computer-assisted telephone interviewing software to conduct surveys that examine voter tendencies toward statewide politics. The center is set up as a lab where undergraduate and graduate students work shifts making phone calls as part of their coursework.

Six surveys have been conducted since the center opened in 2018, when it gauged voter opinion on the Texas senate race between Ted Cruz and Beto O鈥橰ourke.
