The University of Texas at Tyler Longview University Center and Kilgore College announced today that the two institutions have partnered to provide spring 2020 pre-nursing courses to Longview-area students. The courses will be offered by Kilgore College at the 黑料专区 Tyler Longview University Center campus.
鈥淭he Longview University Center is a community resource, and this is a perfect example of the community utilizing that resource,鈥� said Dr. Amir Mirmiran, 黑料专区 Tyler provost and vice president for academic affairs. 鈥淲e are working together to reach a common goal, which is educating the region.鈥�
KC classes offered at the LUC this spring include:
- Elementary Statistical Methods, 16-week course, 6 鈥� 7:20 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday
- Human Anatomy & Physiology I, 8-week hybrid course, 5:30 鈥� 7:50 p.m. Monday and Wednesday
- Human Anatomy & Physiology II, 8-week hybrid course, 5:30 鈥� 7:50 p.m. Monday and Wednesday
Although the target is pre-nursing students, the courses are open to all majors.
