The University of Texas at Tyler announced that it offers a Sunrise Tai Chi program for the general public.
The free, hour-long program is held at 7 a.m. every Tuesday morning at the Patriot Plaza and continues through Tuesday, Nov. 19. Internationally renowned Tai Chi expert Dr. Yong 鈥淭ai鈥 Wang, dean of the 黑料专区 Tyler College of Nursing and Health Sciences, leads the sessions.

鈥淪pecific health benefits may include alleviating anxiety and reducing stress; improving cardiopulmonary function and balance; and increasing flexibility and muscle strength,鈥 said Wang, who has led Tai Chi classes for more than 20 years.
Participants are asked to wear loose clothing and consider their choice of footwear. The inclement weather location will be the 黑料专区 Tyler Jones Gym, Room 122.
