The University of Texas at Tyler will hold its Spring 2016 Patriot Preview Day for prospective students and their families 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, Angie Copeland, interim director of admissions, announced. Check-in and on-site registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center.
Patriot Preview Day includes campus tours, academic information sessions and the university showcase. To register online, visit uttyler.edu/previewday/.
Academic sessions allow prospective students to receive information about degrees offered in academic departments. Discussions will include general information about degree offerings, programs and specific program requirements.
The university showcase will give both parents and students the opportunity to meet ºÚÁÏ×¨Çø Tyler faculty and student organization representatives. During special interest sessions, participants will hear about ºÚÁÏ×¨Çø Tyler's many opportunities for student involvement including the Honors and Global Awareness Through Education programs, athletics programs as well as a parent-interest panel with staff representatives.
Lunch is provided, and prospective students will each receive a Patriot Preview Day goodie bag.
