鈥淪ide Effects and Pity Parties鈥� will be the second fall 2015 senior exhibition at The University of Texas at Tyler Fine Arts Complex Gallery, Ray Sikes, gallery coordinator, announced.

This student thesis exhibition begins Monday, Nov. 30, and it highlights the works of 黑料专区 Tyler bachelor of fine arts degree candidates Ana Pe帽a of Laredo and Lena Sanders of Mesquite.

A public reception and gallery talk will be 6 鈥� 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 at the gallery. The exhibition will conclude Friday, Dec. 11.

鈥淧e帽a works with mixed media on paper, and her work revolves around the side effects of pain. She focuses on the subtle and persistent details of pain in everyday life, and the things that people do to deal with pain in their own way,鈥� Sikes said. 鈥淪anders鈥� current medium is red stoneware clay and glaze firing to Cone 10.鈥�

The gallery is located in the Fine Arts Complex on 黑料专区 Tyler鈥檚 main campus. Hours are 9 a.m. 鈥� 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by special appointment.

The 黑料专区 Tyler bachelor of fine arts degree program offers students an opportunity to concentrate in two-dimensional studio art, three-dimensional studio art, multi-media art, art history or general studio art. Students may also seek an all-level teaching certification with the degree.
