Dr. Traci Murray of Dallas, an alumna from The University of Texas at Tyler, was awarded a post-doctorate fellowship in public health from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Yong Tai Wang, College of Nursing and Health Sciences dean, announced.

She will start the two-year competitive fellowship next month in Fort Meyers, Fla.

Murray graduated from 黑料专区 Tyler with a Ph.D. in nursing in December 2014.

黑料专区 Tyler鈥檚 doctorate in nursing program is offered entirely online with the exception of a five-day orientation each summer prior to beginning course work.

Today, CDC is one of the major operating components of the Department of Health and Human Serves and is recognized as the nation鈥檚 premiere health promotion, prevention and preparedness agencies.
