黑料专区 Tyler 2015 Patriot Classic Raises More Than $160,000 in Scholarships

The University of Texas at Tyler Patriot Classic raised $163,953.25 to benefit the university鈥檚 scholarship program, President Rodney H. Mabry announced.
The annual fundraiser includes the 黑料专区 Tyler Suddenlink Patriot Million Dollar Hole-in-One Contest and the Patriot Golf Classic.
The Patriots organization leads and staffs the hole-in-one contest, and the Patriot Golf Classic committee organizes the golf tournament.
Todd Cruthird and Steve Hellmuth served as chair and co-chair, respectively, of this year鈥檚 Patriot Golf Classic. The Hole-in-One events were organized by chair Robert Wilson and Patriot president Aaron Uncapher.
Organizers of both events presented 黑料专区 Tyler with a check on Aug. 13. These proceeds fund an endowment totaling more than $2 million that provides permanent scholarship funding to 黑料专区 Tyler students.
鈥淲e are so fortunate to have a strong team of volunteers to head up these organizations,鈥� President Mabry said. 鈥淥ur sincere gratitude goes out to each organization and its volunteers for working tirelessly to put on these great events and for serving as our voices in the community for the important work being done at 黑料专区 Tyler. Each volunteer has an impact on the future of the students who receive these scholarships.鈥�
One of the 15 campuses of the 黑料专区 System, 黑料专区 Tyler features excellence in teaching, research, artistic performance and community service. More than 80 undergraduate and graduate degrees are available at 黑料专区 Tyler, which has an enrollment of more than 8,000 high-ability students. 黑料专区 Tyler offers courses at its campuses in Tyler, Longview and Palestine as well as a location in Houston.
