Housing Provides Unique Living Communities

The University of Texas at Tyler offers exceptional on-campus living environments for students, Dr. Howard Patterson, vice president for student affairs, announced.

黑料专区 Tyler is home to more than 1,400 resident students who live in Ornelas Hall, Patriot Village, Eagle鈥檚 Landing and University Pines.

And 黑料专区 Tyler students recognize the outstanding service and quality that is provided through consistent exit survey results.

鈥淲e are very proud of the positive response from our residents,鈥� said David Hill, director of residence life and judicial affairs. 鈥淚t鈥檚 such a compliment to our staff when they return year after year.鈥�

Located on campus, all four housing facilities are conveniently a few minutes鈥� walk from classes, the 黑料专区 Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library, University Center and recreational facilities. Each housing facility offers first-class living arrangements, and all four communities also have Wi-Fi available throughout the buildings.

鈥淲e now have enough on-campus facilities to reach a variety of students,鈥� Hill added. 鈥淣o matter where you are in your college career, we have a place to suit your needs.

The department also employs highly qualified students as resident assistants. RAs are the leaders of their communities and help to foster an atmosphere of healthy living and learning on campus. RAs collaborate with 黑料专区 Tyler faculty and staff to increase awareness of university policy. 黑料专区 Tyler campus police also provide a strong presence at all communities day and night.

Housing Application

Students interested in living on campus may find the housing application online and send by email, mail or fax. Move-in day for Ornelas Hall and Patriot Village is Thursday, Aug. 21. Fall 2014 classes start Monday, Aug. 25.
