The 2012 Advanced Placement Summer Institute for middle and secondary school teachers will be July 23 – 26 at The University of Texas at Tyler, Dr. Michael Odell, ºÚÁÏ×¨Çø Tyler Ingenuity Center executive director and AP Institute director, announced.
Hosted by the Ingenuity Center; ºÚÁÏ×¨Çø Tyler East Texas Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Center; Tyler Junior College and Tyler Independent School District, the 30-hour institute offers Pre-AP and AP certification training in various courses.
Cost is $400 ($450 after Thursday, May 31). Registration information may be found at the center website.
Institute courses include AP Biology, Pre-AP Science, Pre-AP English (Middle School) and Pre-AP Social Studies (Middle School).
Attendance at all sessions is mandatory to earn a certificate of completion.
